Yard Sale Fundraiser 8/22/26

August came and went in a flash! For Lisa’s Spark of Hope, it was a big success with our 2nd annual yard sale fundraiser that was held at the Elm Park Methodist Church, in its over-flow parking lot. The sun was high and smiles wide!

We had a huge inventory of clothing, furniture, housewares, jewelry, art, children’s toys, holiday decor, you name it, we had it!

At the end of the day, our left over inventory was donated to the Salvation Army and Helping Hands Thrift Shop. If you stop by Helping Hands, check out the items designated to help support LSH, and tell Angela we said hello!

Parade and Neahwa Park Vender Event 7/4/26

It was a day! Lisa’s Spark of Hope participated in the annual 4th of July parade in Oneonta, NY. We were decked out in celebratory gear and smiles! The parade went down Main Street, which was filled with crowds and cheer. It was an amazing time seeing everyone come together to celebrate.

After the parade, we set up shop in Neahwa Park at the vendor fair. We had our swag table set up with games for the kids to win prizes and information at hand about our organization. We even had a mascot that was a BIG hit with the kids! Later in the day, we got hit with a massive downpour! It cooled us down while breaking down our tent for the day, we were drenched! Even though our day was cut short with the weather, we meet a lot of new friends and hopeful to see some of the vendors at our event in September.
